A stimulation cycle is one of the most demanding medication schedules a person will ever follow, and it arrives at the most stressful possible time. Multiple injections, some daily, some at a precise hour, doses that change after a scan, a trigger shot with a window measured in minutes rather than hours, and all of it compressed into two weeks where you're already carrying a great deal. What you need from an app is narrow: reliable alarms at exact times, a clear picture of what's still due today, and an accurate record of what you actually took and when. What you must not get from an app is medical instruction — your clinic's protocol is the only authority, and it changes mid-cycle.
What actually goes wrong: Protocols change mid-cycle after a scan, and doses are time-critical in a way that a generic daily reminder can't express. Meanwhile you're too tired and too anxious to be a reliable scheduler for yourself.

Update the dose when your clinic changes it
After a scan, edit the amount on the scheduled time rather than starting over. Each scheduled time carries its own dose, so the change is recorded from that point forward and your log stays truthful about what you took when.

Keep the log, and export it

Your clinic's protocol overrides everything, including this app. Kounts Dose is a reminder and a log — it does not know your protocol, does not advise on doses, timing, injection technique or what to do if a dose is late or missed, and does not check interactions. Do not use it as your only record of a time-critical injection such as a trigger shot: keep your clinic's written instructions, and call them immediately with any question about a missed, late or incorrect dose. Reminders depend on your iPhone being charged, on and permitted to send notifications, so treat the app as a helpful backup to your clinic's instructions rather than a guarantee.
Why it suits this routine
Exact times, alarms that don't defer
Critical alarms use Apple's AlarmKit to sound through Silent mode and Focus. During a cycle you may be sleeping badly and muting everything — an alarm that respects Do Not Disturb is exactly the wrong behaviour for a trigger shot, and this one doesn't.
Several medicines, one clear evening
Today groups everything due at the same time into a single block, colour-coded, with what's taken and what's outstanding unmistakable. When you're managing four things at 9pm, that clarity is the feature.
Private, with no account

Can it remind me to take an injection at an exact time?
Yes — set the time and mark the medicine as critical, and the alarm rings through Silent mode and Focus at that minute, full-screen. Critical alarms are free at every tier. For a truly time-critical dose, we'd still recommend a second, independent alarm: no single app should be the only thing standing between you and a trigger shot.
Can I track several IVF medications at once?
Yes. Add each as its own medicine with its own schedule, amount and colour, and Today groups them by time. Unlimited medicines and the full scheduler come with the one-time $9.99 Dose Plus unlock; the free tier covers one medicine.
What happens when my clinic changes my dose mid-cycle?
Edit the amount on that scheduled time and carry on — your history keeps what you actually took before the change, so the record stays accurate rather than being retroactively rewritten.
Does it track injection sites?
No. Kounts Dose records doses, not sites. If site rotation is something you need logged, MyTherapy has explicit injection-site tracking and Dose doesn't.
Is my fertility treatment data private?
It stays on your iPhone. No account, no server of ours, no ads, no data collection; optional sync uses only your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read. Analytics are anonymous feature counters and never include medication names or doses.
